Judith Drummer

Judith and the rest of her family lived in the Budapest ghetto during the war. One of her vivid memories from that time is hiding bread under her pillow. In 1956, Judith and her family were able to come to America with the help of HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.

Judith's husband was from Satmar and had endured the horrors of Auschwitz, where he witnessed the tragic death of his mother, who was shot in front of him.
