Allan Hall

They sought refuge in various places, including an attic over a theater, a secret basement below a factory, and an office two floors below the headquarters of the German air force in Warsaw.

Allan and his mother remained hidden as much as possible, while his father, Edmund, unknowingly became involved with the underground resistance. Allan was apprehended twice and was destined for immediate death but managed to survive.

Meanwhile, their father escaped from a Soviet transit prison, and he and their mother, Maria, fled to Paris, France. Eventually, Allan and Andrew rejoined their parents in Paris.

From Paris, the family immigrated to New York in February 1947 and later moved to Miami Beach, Florida. Allan went on to graduate from the University of Florida and became a lawyer. He has three daughters and four grandchildren.
